Great family outing!

We took our kids on this tour, and they were thrilled from the start. At the Kelpies, they ran around trying to get the funniest selfies, and at Loch Lomond, they were so excited to spot ducks during the cruise. The biggest laugh came when we all saw the famous Highland cows. Kids couldn’t stop talking about their ‘crazy hair.’ For us, the highlight was the peaceful Loch Lomond cruise, where we could relax and enjoy the views. A perfect family day!

Well organized tour to Loch Lomond!

Great day trip! The bus was very comfortable and the guide made everything easy to follow. We enjoyed our lunch stop in Aberfoyle and had time to relax and buy some handmade Scottish souvenirs. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs were beautiful, and ending with views of the Forth Bridges was the perfect finish. The tour was well organized with plenty of photo stops and a relaxing journey. We’re so glad we saw so much of Scotland in one day. Highly recommend this tour!

Interesting facts

  • Stirling Castle has the largest medieval banqueting hall in Scotland, built by King James IV in 1503. Its walls were coated in golden limewash, making the castle shine from afar as a symbol of wealth and royal power.
  • The name “Kelpies” comes from Scottish folklore - mythical shape-shifting water horses said to haunt rivers and lochs. Each Kelpie’s head is tall enough to fit a double-decker bus inside.
