This was a great experience! I really enjoyed learning about whisky-producing regions. Seeing the Scotch whisky collection of over 3,000 bottles was incredible. I also loved learning about the process of making single malt and the secrets of blending. The tasting experience in the tasting room was very fun. The guide helped me taste and compare different Scotch whiskies. I learned so much and would recommend this to any whisky lover!
I loved both the tour and tasting, but the interactive elements were my favorite part. I loved smelling and touching the ingredients used in making single malt. Our guide, Jack, was great! He shared interesting stories about whisky history and made the experience so fun. After the tour, my wife and I had another drink at the whisky bar. This was an all-around great experience.

The Diageo Claive Vidiz Whisky Collection has been showcased at The Scotch Whisky Experience since 2009. It features 3,384 bottles, showcasing a rich whisky history. Claive Vidiz is a whisky lover from São Paulo, Brazil. He spent 35 years collecting rare and unique whiskies. His collection also includes unusual bottle designs, like golf bags and Scottie dogs.
In 2006, Diageo bought the collection and moved it to Scotland. The company chose Edinburgh as its permanent home.
